Pick Right

Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 13, 2026

This policy explains how the Pick Right app, operated by Dream Big Services Inc, handles consumer health data — information that could describe a person’s physical or mental health. It is written for people in Washington State, under the My Health My Data Act, and in Nevada, under its consumer health data law, and we apply it the same way to everyone. It adds to our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else the app handles.

What Health Data We Handle

Pick Right never asks about your health and has no health questions or forms to fill in. The only way health information can reach us is if you type it into Chat — for example, by mentioning a condition, a symptom, a medicine or a pregnancy in a question. Scan sends a photo of produce, and nothing else in the app sends information about your health.

Where It Comes From

Only from you, in what you type into Chat. We do not buy health data, receive it from anyone else, or work it out from anything else you do in the app.

How We Use It

Only to answer the question you asked. Questions the app recognizes as health questions — ones that name a condition, an organ or a medicine — are answered by our own server with a suggestion to ask a doctor or pharmacist. They are never sent to Google’s AI, and they are left out of anything sent to it later in the same conversation. Other questions may be sent to Google Vertex AI (Gemini) to write the answer, and any health detail you included in them goes too.

What We Keep

Nothing. Chat messages are not saved on our servers and are not written to our logs. Each chat request carries the app’s random usage identifier so that it can be counted against your limit, but only the count is kept, never the message. The conversation on your screen is not saved to your phone’s storage either; it is gone when the app closes.

Who It Is Shared With

We do not sell health data, and we do not share it for advertising or for any purpose of our own. The one company that may receive it is Google LLC, as the cloud and AI service provider that writes Chat’s answers for us. We have no affiliates, and no other company receives or collects health data through Pick Right.

Location

Pick Right does not set up geofences — virtual boundaries drawn around places such as clinics — and never uses location to learn anything about your health. The optional “Use my location” row works as described in our Privacy Policy, and the coordinate is never sent to us.

Your Rights

Washington and Nevada law give you the right to ask whether we have collected or shared your health data, to get a copy of it and the list of companies it went to, to withdraw your consent, and to have it deleted. We keep no chat messages, so there is nothing to copy or delete: whatever you typed was used for its answer and not saved, and the only company it may have gone to is Google, as described above. If you would like that confirmed in writing, write to privacy@pick-right.app and we will answer within 45 days.

Appeals

If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer. We will decide within 45 days and explain the decision in writing. If we turn down your appeal, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov or, in Nevada, the Nevada Attorney General at ag.nv.gov.

Changes to This Policy
